Who we are
This website is operated by Sukee ("Sukee", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, email us at info@sukee.ai.
Information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to you and run this website.
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, work email, company, role, the service you are interested in and anything you choose to include in your message. If you ask about code licensing, we may also collect your approximate codebase size and primary programming languages.
- Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Please do not send source code, credentials or other sensitive technical material through the contact form. If we move forward together, we will agree a secure way to share it.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss whether our services are right for you.
- To take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and to provide our services if we work together.
- To keep records of our business communications.
- To operate, maintain and protect this website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Our legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply, we rely on the following grounds:
- Legitimate interests, in responding to business enquiries, developing client relationships and keeping our website secure.
- Contract, where processing is needed to take steps before or to perform an agreement with you or your organisation.
- Legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information by law.
- Consent, where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as they need it. These include:
- Website hosting, provided by our hosting provider.
- Contact form handling, provided by Web3Forms, which processes the details you submit and forwards them to us by email.
- Email and productivity services, which we use to receive and manage our correspondence.
- Web fonts, served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, or where required by law, regulation or a court order, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of our business.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted once they are no longer needed. Where we work together, we keep records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting and contractual requirements.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- ask us to restrict or stop processing it, or object to our processing;
- receive a copy of it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@sukee.ai. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver the site securely. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
